Garden Route – Luxury multifaceted property with numerous guest offerings situated on popular tourist route seeks a frontline, experienced General Manager to lead their hospitality team. Duties include: Management of property operations ensuring 5* service at all times; co-ordination of all departments and guest offerings; Staff management, development and training. The successful incumbent will be involved in the financial management of all departments and will be required to work in compliance with budget and report accordingly. This position requires extensive guest interaction and only persons with phenomenal communication skills (written and verbal) need apply.
What you need to apply for this position:
Grade 12, Formal qualification in Tourism/ Hospitality Management ESSENTIAL; minimum of 10 years previous working experience in Senior Management capacity of 5* properties; Excellent staff management and training skills; Computer literate on MS Office suite, Semper (Or equivalent); Sound financial acumen. Must have an unendorsed drivers licence and own transport.
