Job description:

  • Pretoria .
  • Very big and busy hotel  ( 200++ rooms , 4 conference rooms  and a restaurant that serves buffet and small a la carte menu )  needs the services of a strong Head Chef .
  • The current Executive chef is taking on the role of F&B manager too so she needs support .
  • Wants someone able to manage staff.
  • Make sure food goes out on time and to a good standards,
  • Regular stock counting ,  making sure FIFO is practiced well .

Skills required:

  • Professional cookery Diploma , minimum 15 years in the kitchen with at least 2 as a head chef or Exec sous .
  • Ability to run a big staff team .
  • Ability to work with Exec Chef/F&B manager who has a clear vision of what she wants in the kitchen
